Nagi Sizzles with 34-Game Batting Streak Friday, September 18th , 2015 Philadelphia (R) third baseman Jaivata Nagi keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 34 games after collecting 1 hit at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The Keystones earned the 5-3 victory over the Denver (R) Cutthroats. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Nagi said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Jaivata Nagi struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and walked in the 8th. This year, Nagi has collected a .353 batting average to date with 114 hits in 323 at-bats, 64 RBIs, 15 home runs and scored 65 times. He has played in 78 games. |
