Nagi Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Monday, September 7th , 2015 With 2 hits at PBC Rookie Development Complex, Jaivata Nagi added another game to his hitting streak -- the Philadelphia (R) third baseman has now hit safely for 25 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Keystones, as they fell, 6-3, to the Boston (R) Shamrocks. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Boston (R) manager David Carrillo said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Jaivata Nagi doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Thus far this year, Nagi is batting .347 with 13 home runs, 53 RBIs and 56 runs scored. |
