PBC Rookie Complex League's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 17th , 2015 A hot-hitting week got Menno Zweverink the PBC Rookie Complex League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The New York City (R) center fielder slammed them for a .667 average, 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 9 runs. In the postgame press conference, Zweverink shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
