Toronto (R)'s Chapman Sidelined for Season Tuesday, August 4th , 2015 The season is apparently over for Jerry Chapman. The Toronto (R) Titans medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 8 months with a torn labrum. Chapman was hurt in the game against Boston (R) while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season, Chapman has crafted a 3-1 mark with a 1.78 ERA in 35.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .227 against him and he has 42 strikeouts. |
