RP Taimei Takemoto Hurt Friday, July 24th , 2015 Taimei Takemoto and the Boston (R) Shamrocks got a bad break in today's game against the Sun Sox as the team confirmed he will miss 10-11 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. The Shamrocks reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch. The team doctor is confident he'll make a full recovery. To date this year, he has registered 1 save, no wins and no losses with a 2.19 ERA. Takemoto has made 7 relief appearances, worked a total of 12.1 innings and surrendered 9 hits. He has fanned 6, issued 10 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .205 batting average. |
