Juarez 5-for-5 Against Diablos Thursday, June 25th , 2015 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Alex Juarez -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at PBC Rookie Development Complex and paced the 13-9 Aces win over the El Paso (R) Diablos. After his dynamite batting performance, the Las Vegas (R) right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Alex Juarez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 8th. In 2015 Juarez has hit at a .346 clip with 18 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and has scored 10 times. View Boxscore |
