Pitcher of the Year Award Presented by R Tuesday, October 27th , 2015 The hottest hurler in the PBC Rookie Complex League this season was Matt Nelson of the Philadelphia (R) Keystones. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2015 R Pitcher of the Year Award. Nelson starred with an impressive 8-1 record in 22 starts. The Keystones ace gave up 103 base hits and struck out 138 in 119 innings with a 1.89 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Nelson Amaro of the San Francisco (R) Peanuts finished second in voting, while Corey Martin of the Los Angeles (R) Knights finished third.
