Knights Sweep Championship Cup Tuesday, October 13th , 2015 The Los Angeles (R) Knights made quick work of the Philadelphia (R) Keystones in the Championship Cup, sweeping them aside to clinch the 1st PBC Rookie Complex League crown in Knights history. Los Angeles (R) sealed the series today at PBC Rookie Development Complex with a 3-1 victory. During the regular season play, the Knights notched a 58-30 record and wound up in first place in the Rookie Complex League West Division race. "I won't say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy," said Los Angeles (R) manager Bob Barnett. "But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series." View Boxscore |
