St. Petersburg's Laurent to Miss Season Monday, September 28th , 2015 Doctors in St. Petersburg said Luc Laurent might not play anymore this year. The Pelicans reliever suffered bone chips in his elbow during a game against the Fort Wayne Farmers and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. For the year, Laurent has saved 1 games while posting an ERA of 3.04 and 27 strikeouts in 23.2 innings. His totals also include a 1-2 record in 11 relief appearances. |
