St. Petersburg Eliminated from Playoff Contention Thursday, September 24th , 2015 St. Petersburg Pelicans fans had stayed hopeful that their club could reach the postseason this year, but that possibility is now gone. The team has been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Pelicans have missed the playoffs.Their last playoff appearance was in 2013.St. Petersburg last won the Amateur Circuit Cup in 2013. |
