5-Hit Barrage by Nesbitt Saturday, September 19th , 2015 Dallas catcher Isaiah Nesbitt had a big day at Dallas Park against the Fort Wayne Farmers. The 26-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 14-3 Bulls triumph over Fort Wayne. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Nesbitt said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Isaiah Nesbitt hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. For the season, Nesbitt has hit .296 with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 38 games and scored 15 times. View Boxscore |
