Week's Best Player Honored by ABC Monday, August 17th , 2015 It was announced today that Oil City catcher Akifumi Ohashi had received the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .500 BA (8-for-16), 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. Ohashi has collected 55 hits for the Oilers this year, 5 of them home runs. He has also netted 25 RBIs and scored 28 runs while batting .309. |
