Season-Ending Injury for Ira Becker Wednesday, August 5th , 2015 The Manhattan Liberty were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Ira Becker left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Becker has suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this season, Becker has logged a 3-4 record with a 4.38 ERA. He has started 11 games, hurled 63.2 innings and registered 59 strikeouts and 24 walks. |
