Albuquerque Loses Uehara for Year Wednesday, July 29th , 2015 The doctors have spoken and Aiichiro Uehara of the Albuquerque Coyotes didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Uehara sustained his season-ending injury during the Fort Wayne Farmers game yesterday at Coyote Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Albuquerque medical staff reported Uehara had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. |
