Halonen Tags 3 HR Against Twisters Thursday, June 18th , 2015 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Battalion-Twisters game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Boston right fielder Jussi-Pekka Halonen thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Boston to a win, 9-8, over Tulsa. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Halonen said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Halonen was 3-for-4 on the day with 7 runs batted in. Jussi-Pekka Halonen hit a two-run home run off Jon Sanders in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jon Sanders in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Shane Ballman in the 6th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th. This year, Halonen has batted at a .476 pace with 10 hits, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 6 times. |
