Shane Adams Injured, Out for Year Friday, September 12th , 2014 Shane Adams will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Brooklyn starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Adams was injured while throwing a pitch in the Atlantics-Oilers clash at Atlantics Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a stretched elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 10 months. This season, Adams has fashioned a 4-3 mark and 4.28 ERA in 48.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .266 against him and he has logged 38 strikeouts. |
