George Hale Will Miss 6 Months Thursday, October 16th , 2014 The Tampa Bay (R) Thunder will lose the services of starting pitcher George Hale after he sustained bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Philadelphia (R) Keystones. "I'll get through it," Hale said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 6 months. This season, Hale has compiled a 5-3 mark with a 3.07 ERA. |
