Blues Jurado No-Hits Titans Tuesday, September 23rd , 2014 Emilio Jurado made easy work of the Toronto (R) Titans at PBC Rookie Development Complex, tossing a no-hitter for the New York City (R) Blues. In a superlative outing, he registered 7 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks, leading the Blues as they defeated the Titans, 5-0. "I really didn't have my best stuff today," he admitted after the game. "There's a lot of luck involved in throwing a no-hitter. But some days it's better to be lucky than good." Either way, Jurado earned himself a place in the history books. To date, Jurado has a 7-5 mark in 17 starts with a 4.07 ERA. He has given up 100 hits in 97.1 innings, struck out 126 and issued 29 walks.
