Gagnon Torches Sun Sox for 5 Hits Thursday, September 18th , 2014 The 5th time was not the charm for Joe Gagnon. The right fielder for the Houston (R) Mavericks hit the milestone at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but it was the Miami (R) Sun Sox that salvaged a 7-6 victory. Gagnon finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate, and it still wasn't enough. "He was not an easy out, that's for sure," Miami (R) manager Khalil Miller said to the press in the postgame interview. "I'm just glad we held everybody else in check and got the win." Gagnon declined to speak to reporters at length following the game, saying only that "no loss is a good one."
