Osolin on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Saturday, August 16th , 2014 Some days, a great game just isn't enough. Ray Osolin of the Detroit (R) Motors found that out the hard way. Osolin had a great day at the plate, pounding out 4 hits in 5 at-bats and hitting for the cycle, but watched the San Francisco (R) Peanuts win the game, 6-4. "It is a frustrating feeling to know you did so much and still lost," the 18-year-old first baseman said later. "But it is a feeling you have to get used to if you want to play baseball for very long. It just happens." Osolin had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run, as well as 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored in the contest. Ray Osolin struck out in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Seung-woo Kim in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Osolin is hitting at a .238 mark this season.
