Miami (R)'s Vidaurre R Star of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2014 Miami (R) Sun Sox center fielder Greg Vidaurre walked away with the PBC Rookie Complex League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Sun Sox fans are really behind me right now," said the 19-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Vidaurre batted .480 (12-for-25) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This year, Vidaurre has hit 4 home runs and posted a .250 batting average. |
