Chicago (R)'s Mendoza Will Miss Season Sunday, July 20th , 2014 Disappointing news today for Chicago (R) Union fans. Angel Mendoza was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Philadelphia (R) Keystones and has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 11-12 months. |
