Hicks Gets 5 Hits Saturday, July 19th , 2014 Union shortstop Brandon Hicks had his way with Philadelphia (R) pitching at PBC Rookie Development Complex and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Keystones ruined his great day by toppling the Union, 13-12. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Philadelphia (R) credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Hicks did today," Keystones skipper Danny Tovar said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Brandon Hicks singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Josh Biggs in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in a run in the 8th, hit an RBI double in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
