Boston Narrowly Wins East Division Wednesday, October 1st , 2014 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Boston Battalion clubhouse, after the team clinched the East Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Alex Cosme. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 51-37 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st Amateur Circuit Cup championship. Shortstop Malik Dais said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 4th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
