September's ABC Batter of Month Award Announced Wednesday, October 1st , 2014 Bill Schwartz has a lot going for him. The Oil City right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Amateur Baseball Circuit has just picked him as its top hitter for September. In 24 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .337 with 8 home runs, 22 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This year, Schwartz is batting .300 with 63 hits, 13 home runs, 52 RBIs, 42 walks, .421 OBP and has scored 33 runs. |
