Houston Catcher Nets ABC Award Monday, September 29th , 2014 Hannes Eder demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award. The Houston catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .393 average (11-for-28) with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. In the current season, Eder has put up a .329 batting average with 103 hits, 16 home runs, 57 runs batted in and scored 59 runs. |
