5-Hit Game for Gonzalez Thursday, September 25th , 2014 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Ramon Gonzalez walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Fort Wayne Farmers in a career day at Ballpark of Franklin, but it was the Franklin Knights who won the ballgame, 10-8. "My swing was really, really there," Gonzalez said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-6 and losing is better than 0-for-6 and losing, right?" Ramon Gonzalez singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and flied out in the 12th.
