Season Possibly Over for Andy Taylor Tuesday, September 9th , 2014 Andy Taylor has to call it a season. The Tulsa Twisters starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Arlington Stars and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Taylor was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Up to now Taylor has compiled an ERA of 7.47 with a 2-3 mark over 10 starts. He has 64 strikeouts in 47 innings and has held opponents to a .333 batting average. |
