Red-Hot Bat: Proctor Collects Cycle Sunday, August 24th , 2014 At Coyote Park, Ross Proctor led Albuquerque to a win, 5-2, over the El Paso Mavericks by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Proctor said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-4, Proctor chalked up 1 run batted in and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance.
