St. Petersburg Loses Muhammad for Year Thursday, August 7th , 2014 When St. Petersburg starting pitcher Jalen Muhammad was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Pelicans-Farmers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Muhammad had sustained a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 12 months. Looking at his season stats, Muhammad has won 2 and lost 4, collecting 101 strikeouts and 30 walks in 71.2 innings with a 3.01 ERA. |
