Twisters Steve Arthur Will Miss Season Saturday, July 19th , 2014 A blow for Steve Arthur today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a ruptured finger tendon. Arthur suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Tulsa Twisters are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Arthur's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Taking a look at his season, Arthur has made 8 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 0.82 ERA. In pitching 11 innings, he has totaled 13 strikeouts and 5 walks. |
