Swortzel and Guffin Brawl, League Suspends Them Wednesday, June 25th , 2014 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Fort Wayne-St. Petersburg contest at Farmers Field. The Farmers John Swortzel and the Pelicans Brennan Guffin will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Swortzel is batting at a .118 pace this season, picking up 4 hits in 34 at-bats with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
