Aleman Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Thursday, June 19th , 2014 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of St. Petersburg buzzing, St. Petersburg Pelicans second baseman Jose Aleman blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 14-1, over the Brooklyn Atlantics. "Everything was clicking," Aleman told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Aleman shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Pelicans manager Jose Perez said. "Jose played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Jose Aleman struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Alemana Kulan in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Peder Matsoukis in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jamie Pickrell in the 8th.
