Vadi, Steelheads Shut Out Aztecas, 5-0 Thursday, October 2nd , 2014 The Mexico City Aztecas struggled at the plate against Steelheads hurler Tony Vadi, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete-game 5-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Aztecas skipper Beau Beadle in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Vadi finished the game with 8 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Vacaville manager Mark Mastronardi said. "Tony made pitches when he had to.
