Hamilton Eliminated from Playoff Contention Saturday, September 20th , 2014 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Hamilton Tigers. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Tigers manager Pat McDowell said. The Tigers have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 13 years as a Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2009. |
