SPBC Names Sullivan Best Rookie Monday, September 1st , 2014 John Sullivan certainly made a name for himself with a standout August. Voters were impressed enough to name him the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit's Rookie of the Month. The 24-year-old Saskatoon hurler racked up 3 wins and 1 loss and posted an ERA of 2.08 in 17.1 innings of work. He restricted other teams to a .213 batting average, notched 20 strikeouts and walked 8. This year, his season stats show Sullivan has 1 save in 15 relief appearances with a 5-2 record and 2.25 ERA. |
