August's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Maguire Monday, September 1st , 2014 Last month was a very successful month for John Maguire of Albany. So successful that he has been honored as the Pitcher of the Month in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. Maguire shut down league hitters in fine fashion, rounding out August with an impressive 4-0 mark and 1.80 ERA in 6 starts with 50 strikeouts in 50 innings. This year, Maguire has posted a 8-3 mark in 15 starts and has a 2.56 ERA. |
