Ellis Bags SPBC Best Player Award Monday, August 18th , 2014 Andrew Ellis of Edmonton was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .591 batting average, going 13 for 22 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scoring 3 times. For the year, Ellis is batting .312 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
