More Injury Problems for El Paso's Takanori Umeda Sunday, November 9th , 2014 Takanori Umeda is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a partially torn labrum. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Diablos sent the 27-year-old right fielder back to the doctors for reexamination. Umeda told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Umeda will now miss a minimum of 4 months. Takanori Umeda is expected to undergo surgery in El Paso(Texas) tomorrow. |
