The New York City Blues closer was the owner of a 1.23 ERA this season over 58.2 innings of work. He made 36 relief appearances and had 17 saves, 55 strikeouts, 10 walks and a record of 5 wins and 3 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 25-year-old has been named the Professional Baseball Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 18. Jonathan King of the Houston Mavericks finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Won-keun Baek of the El Paso Diablos finished third with 3 first place votes.
