Jeremy Handy Hurt, Out for Year Monday, September 29th , 2014 Jeremy Handy has to call it a season. The Tampa Bay Thunder shortstop sustained a season-ending injury against the Miami Sun Sox and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Handy was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken bone in the elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. For the season, Handy is batting .247 with 72 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 33 times and batted in 26. |
