Denver Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, September 16th , 2014 The playoff hopes of the Denver Cutthroats -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. Denver last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 15-year history. Denver last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2008. |
