Meyer Batters Detroit Big Time Thursday, September 4th , 2014 It was a parade of hits for Dan Meyer of the Denver Cutthroats at Cutter's Cove. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Meyer finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cutthroats to a win, 25-3. "Meyer was really good and we were really bad," groaned Motors manager Sean Morgan. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Dan Meyer walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, flied out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Dennis Garrison in the 8th.
