Dallas-El Paso Deal: Martinez for Smeltzer Tuesday, September 2nd , 2014 The Texans and Diablos confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Dallas will get 19-year old minor league LHP Dustin Smeltzer, while El Paso will receive 28-year old LF Danny Martinez. This season, Martinez is batting .175 with 36 hits, 14 home runs, 27 RBIs, .247 OBP and has scored 23 runs. |
