Done Deal: Spencer for Fujiyama Thursday, December 4th , 2014 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Peanuts announced today the acquisition of 25-year old RHP Kiyomitsu Fujiyama, 34-year old RHP John Stuart, 25-year old 2B Chris Birl, and 30-year old RF Jim Boutin from the Denver Cutthroats in exchange for 22-year old minor league RHP Greg Morris, 20-year old minor league RHP Tyshawn Dortch, 18-year old minor league RHP Clint Nees, and 20-year old minor league 1B Nick Spencer. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Peanuts, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Fujiyama has a lifetime record of 4 wins and 7 losses and a 4.54 ERA. |
