The Chicago Union and Toronto Titans delighted fans at Titans Fields.

The Toronto Titans picked up a win at Titans Fields, taking down the Chicago Union, 7-3. Starting pitcher Jay Williams was a big reason why. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Titans hope to make a postseason run.

Making an impact for Toronto was center fielder Kyle Prater. Godzilla drilled a run-scoring double off Matt Boatright in the bottom of the third. For the game, Prater went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Jay's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Toronto manager Paul Harvey.
