Behind a solid performance from right fielder Chris Beveridge, the San Francisco Peanuts defeated the Los Angeles Knights, 8-6. Beveridge went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk for the Peanuts. By defeating Los Angeles, the 4th-place Peanuts improved to 39-43.

San Francisco used a clutch at-bat from Jayden Bates to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Peanuts ahead, 8-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We didn't play well enough to win," Los Angeles skipper Jason Tudor said.
