Roberto Alarcon put on a hitting clinic as the Boston (R) Shamrocks dumped the Dallas (R) Texans, 23-6, at PBC Rookie Development Complex.

The Boston (R) shortstop made Dallas (R) defenders earn their pay, lashing Dallas (R) pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Alarcon said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
