No one was more impactful than Josh Olson in the 11-8 Boston win over Chicago. Olson, who finished 3rd in the PBC in batting average with .313 in 2008, was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Arturo Jones earned the win. Justin Thill took the loss for Chicago. The 4th-place Shamrocks are 25-35.

Boston left fielder Luis Reyes contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 78th hit of the season and put the Shamrocks ahead, 8-0.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Olson.
