The New York City Blues bested the Chicago Union, 7-3, at Blues Field. Brian Garrette was one of the standouts. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the win, the Blues hiked their record to 29-15.

Garrette had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Blues went on to win.
